Saturday didn't go our way, as our Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade were edged out by Redlands Mens 2nd Grade in a tough outing.
Redlands Mens 2nd Grade's innings closed at 5/140 from 20 overs. Credit to Carter Pearson, who made a half-century (66) for our opponents. Jehan Daniel starred with the ball, taking two for 32.
Needing 141 to win, we finished on 4/130 from 20 overs. Ali Nasar Zaidi's 62 off 53 balls was a half-century to remember. Hayden Hamilton added a useful 26 off 31 balls.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
We'll go again.
