Wynnum Manly's Wynnum-Manly Mens 3rd Grade proved too strong for Valley Mens 3rd Grade in a pleasing performance.
Batting first, Valley Mens 3rd Grade posted 153 from 38.1 overs. Joshua Martin was the top scorer for our opponents with 26. Jackson Steinhardt returned figures of four for 9 off eight overs. Dane Hutchinson added two for 22.
In reply, the boys reached the target at 6/154 in 32.1 overs. Preston Wells brought up a good half-century, finishing with 77 off 70 balls. Xander Thierry added a useful 25 off 38 balls.
Our bowlers made sure the hosts didn't bat out their overs. That's four wins on the trot for the team. Congratulations to all involved.
