It wasn't to be for our Wynnum-Manly Mens 4th Grade, who went down to Sandgate-Redcliffe Mens 4th Grade on a day to learn from.
Over the course of the match we totalled 7/269, and Sandgate-Redcliffe Mens 4th Grade 8/326. A classy 83 off 121 balls from Scott Reberger was the highlight. Ravijit Singh Buttar posted a half-century, making 62 off 128 balls with ten fours. Private player bowled superbly for the visitors, a five-wicket haul of five for 48.
Lachlan Reberger was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 77). Credit to Lewis Carroll, who made a half-century (75) for our opponents. Fifty for player, who made 74 for the visitors.
Plenty to take out of this one.
