Despite some good moments, our Wynnum-Manly Mens 1st Grade lost out to Northern Suburbs Mens 1st Grade on a tough day.
Northern Suburbs Mens 1st Grade's innings ended at 6/293, ours at 10/217. Reuben Burger posted a half-century, making 54 off 62 balls with seven fours and one six. A five-wicket haul to Ryan Walker for the hosts (five for 58).
Dylan Henderson returned figures of four for 52 off thirteen overs. Mitch Doolan made a good 105 for our opponents, a century worth applauding.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
We'll go again.
