It was a good day out for our Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade, who overcame Redlands Mens 2nd Grade in Mens Competitions.
In terms of totals, it was Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade 2/284 and Redlands Mens 2nd Grade 10/223. Jordan Kingdon led the way with a cracking hundred, finishing on 149 not out off 278 balls. Dakota Rodgers made a superb 67 off 111 balls, a well-made fifty.
Ben Marsden bowled well to finish with three for 47. There were also wickets for Cameron Steinhardt (three for 69). Our opponents' James Catlow-Elliott made a good 108.
A well-deserved victory for the boys. The win makes it three in a row. That makes up for our loss to the hosts earlier in the season. A day to enjoy for everyone at Wynnum Manly.
