Despite a solid effort, our Wynnum Manly Sat C1N had to give best to The Night Watchmen on a frustrating day.
The Night Watchmen's innings closed at 10/123 from 25.5 overs. Our opponents' best with the bat was Hamish Browne, who made 25. Our best with the ball was Harrison Bond, who took three for 28. Isaac Paterson offered good support with two for 16.
Our chase ended at 54 from 21.4 overs. Hugo Jones played a quality hand of 18 off 39 balls. For the hosts, Tom Lawrence took four for 6 off 5.4 overs.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
