Our Wynnum-Manly Womens 1st Grade were on song as they had the measure of Valley Womens 1st Grade on Sunday in Womens Competitions.
Valley Womens 1st Grade batted first and made 168 from 48.3 overs. Shriya Naidu passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 64. With the ball, Eloise Schabe did the damage, claiming four for 21 off 8.3 overs. There were also wickets for Amreen Kahlon (four for 27).
In reply, the team reached the target at 8/171 in 48 overs. Astrid Muniandy top-scored with 48 off 97 balls. Clodagh Ryall played a handy knock of 26.
A well-deserved win for the girls. That's our first win of the season on the board. Congratulations to all involved.
