It wasn't to be for our Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade, who lost their match against Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade with lessons to take away.
Sunshine Coast Mens 2nd Grade batted first and reached 6/185 from 20 overs. Credit to Brendon Schultz, who made a half-century (83) for our opponents. Dan Cummins helped the hosts with 31. Cameron Steinhardt was the pick of our bowlers with three for 17.
In reply, we finished on 127 from 18.4 overs. Leading the way was Aadi Mahata with 35 off 24 balls.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around. Well played to our opponents.
