There was no joy for our Wynnum-Manly Mens 6th Grade, who had to give best to Northern Suburbs Mens 6th Grade at Trevor Hohns Field on Saturday.
We posted 9/141, while Northern Suburbs Mens 6th Grade made 10/240. Jake Keiler brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 55 off 213 balls. Credit to Callum Asbury, who took four for 33 for the visitors.
Ryan Lacey returned figures of three for 18 off six overs. Parth Sharma weighed in with three for 58 off seventeen overs. Liam O'Higgins made a quality 71 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. The visitors' best was a half-century from Isaac Paine, who made 62.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Well played to our opponents.
