It was a tough day out for our Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max, who were bested by University of Queensland KFC T20 Max despite Nicholas Hobson's 61.
First up, we made 7/165 from 20 overs. Nicholas Hobson's 61 off 31 balls was a half-century to remember. There were also handy runs from Jed Wilson (35). For University of Queensland KFC T20 Max, Brayden Meegama took three for 15 off four overs.
The visitors reached the target at 3/166 in 17.4 overs. Fifty for Jack Clayton, who made 81 not out for our opponents. Max Clayton posted 62 not out for the visitors, a good fifty. Harmon Sandhu was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 34 off three overs.
Plenty to take out of this one. That's two losses in a row, but the side will keep working hard. Chins up, everyone.
