Our Wynnum Manly District Open Women were on song as they were too good for UQCC RMC with Peyton Powell leading the way.
We set UQCC RMC a target of 219, finishing on 3/218 from 35 overs. Fifty for Peyton Powell, who finished with 67 off 96 balls. Ravleen Kahlon's 54 off 63 balls was a half-century to remember. Ruwenthika Nithyananthan was the main threat for the visitors, taking three for 41.
Our bowlers kept our opponents to 7/164 from 35 overs in reply. Aarya Repal led the way for the visitors with 33 off 51 balls. Our best with the ball was Rachel Toovey, who took four for 18.
Our bowlers led the way on the day. That makes it two wins in a row. Well played, all.
