Our Wynnum-Manly Mens 3rd Grade had plenty to celebrate after they prevailed over Valley Mens 3rd Grade in a good team performance.
Our totals were 5/304, against Valley Mens 3rd Grade's 10/104 and 1/48. Take a bow, Varinder Nakhwal: a cracking 101 not out off 192 balls with twelve fours. Xander Thierry passed fifty on the way to 84 off 146 balls with fourteen fours. Connor Rudman also got among the runs with 47 off 56 balls.
Dylan Henderson led the way with the ball, finishing with three for 39. Jon Shaw finished with two for 3. Harry Carroll held our opponents' innings together with 37.
It was an excellent all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. That's back-to-back wins for the side. Well done, team.
