It just wasn't our day: our Wynnum Manly Sat B1S lost out to Rochedale South Vipers on a tough day.
We posted 130, while Rochedale South Vipers made 2/145. Eric Williams's 63 off 73 balls was a half-century to remember. Pat Villacorte finished 47 not out off 158 balls. The hosts' best with the ball was Declan Smith (four for 14). Jason Hart added three for 6 for our opponents.
Zach Plowman returned figures of two for 20 off three overs. Greg Brennan passed fifty for the hosts, finishing with 60 not out. Hart made a useful 45 for our opponents.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. It's been a tough run, and we'll be working hard to turn it around.
Chins up, everyone.
