Good news from our Wynnum Manly Sat B1N, who chalked up a victory over Ashgrove Saturday B1N at Marchant Park - Oval 10.
After batting first, we finished on 6/177 from 32 overs. Murphy Hill's 66 not out off 55 balls was a half-century to remember. Muhammad Fazeel Tariq made 34 off 36 balls. Ashgrove Saturday B1N's best with the ball was Dayyan Ahmad (three for 22).
We bowled the hosts out for 127 in 28.1 overs. Andrew de Verteuil batted well for our opponents, making 29 off 33 balls. Our best with the ball was Christopher Gurney, who took three for 35. Dale Hansen offered good support with two for 17.
A superb result for the side.
Onwards and upwards.
