It was a day to forget for our Wynnum Manly Sat B1S, who were outplayed by Rochedale South Vipers on Saturday at Kianawah Park - Oval #9.
We bowled Rochedale South Vipers out for 163 in 35.5 overs. Declan Smith passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 68 not out. George Heath was the hero with the ball, claiming a five-wicket haul (five for 22). Angus Venamore added two for 34.
In reply, we finished on 46 from 20.3 overs. Caleb Sutton made a valuable 16 off 30 balls. Daniel Short bowled impressively for our opponents, a six-wicket haul of six for 5.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
