It was a disappointing outing for our Wynnum Manly Sun B1S, who were well beaten by Western Buccaneers on Sunday at Kianawah Park - Oval #11.
Batting first, Western Buccaneers posted 315 from 47.2 overs. Credit to Brendan Ashton, who made a half-century (95) for our opponents. Cameron Dungey was the pick of our bowlers with three for 58. Hamza Awan also took two for 22.
In reply, the team were all out for 213 in 47.5 overs. Awan passed fifty on the way to 56 not out off 72 balls with seven fours. Fifty for Edmund Reidy, who finished with 51 off 62 balls.
Chins up, everyone.
