It wasn't to be for our Wynnum Manly Sat C1N, who were undone by Carina Sat 2.
Across the match we made 10/99 and 1/33, with Carina Sat 2 on 8/281. Oliver Death Woodbourne was still there at the end on 27 off 43 balls. A five-wicket haul to Jordan Crick for the hosts (five for 21).
Sean Larking bowled well to finish with two for 36. Credit to Hayden Ballard, who made a century (110) for our opponents. Mark Moodley posted 57 for the hosts, a quality fifty.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Back to the nets, and on to the next one.
