It just wasn't our day: our Wynnum Manly Sat B1N came up short against Ashgrove Saturday B1N on a frustrating day.
Our total was 10/99; Ashgrove Saturday B1N's was 9/161. Hats off to Hendrik Kruger, whose 105 was a classy century for the visitors. Christopher Gurney starred with the ball, taking two for 11. Charlie Shaw bowled beautifully for two for 15.
Jordan Mather made a valuable 29 off 46 balls. Krupesh Machhi was the pick of our opponents' bowlers with three for 9.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. We'll go again.
