It was a cracking day for our Wynnum-Manly Mens 4th Grade, who came away winners against Valley Mens 4th Grade in a stylish team performance.
In terms of totals, it was Wynnum-Manly Mens 4th Grade 7/319 and Valley Mens 4th Grade 7/304. Ravijit Singh Buttar made a great 72 off 74 balls, a well-made fifty. Fifty for Joshua Ritchie, who finished with 69 off 93 balls. Preston Wells's 62 off 56 balls was a half-century to remember. Our opponents' best with the ball was Cameron Willis (three for 47).
Kethmin Meegasdeniya returned figures of three for 56 off twenty overs. Willis made a polished 58 not out for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century.
Our bowlers shared the wickets around. Two wins on the trot now for the side.
Onwards and upwards.
