On Saturday at Ian Droney Oval, our Wynnum-Manly Mens 3rd Grade were unable to get the better of Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade in one to put behind us.
Gold Coast Mens 3rd Grade made 9/294, and we made 3/50. An unbeaten 27 off 27 balls from Hashan Wanasekara was a highlight.
Dane Hutchinson starred with the ball, taking three for 56. Credit to Patrick Eveleigh, who made a half-century (69) for the visitors. Fifty for Oli Dandy, who made 62 for our opponents.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on.
Thanks to the visitors for the contest.
