There was plenty to celebrate as our Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade put away Toombul Mens 2nd Grade at Bill Albury Oval, winning by 67 runs.
We batted first and put 8/228 on the board from 50 overs. Sukhveer Singh passed fifty on the way to 74 not out off 97 balls with two fours and two sixes. Liam Hope-Shackley's 54 off 49 balls was a half-century to remember.
Toombul Mens 2nd Grade were all out for 161 in 46 overs in reply. Jordan Cabot batted well for the visitors, making 48 off 45 balls. Jackson Monley grabbed four for 18.
It was a cracking all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. Well played, all.
