Our Wynnum-Manly Mens 2nd Grade were denied by Ipswich Mens 2nd Grade on a day to learn from.
Our totals were 300, against Ipswich Mens 2nd Grade's 5/326. Henry Taylor brought up a quality half-century, finishing with 77 off 115 balls. Dakota Rodgers's 76 off 202 balls was a half-century to remember. Liam Carter brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 55 off 59 balls. A seven-wicket haul to Charlie Kruger for our opponents (seven for 86).
Bodie Richardson was the pick of the bowlers, taking two for 25 off nine overs. Joe Sippel made a polished 130 not out for the hosts, a century worth applauding.
There were some classy individual efforts to build on.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
