It was one to learn from for our Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max, who went down to Valley KFC T20 Max by 25 runs.
Valley KFC T20 Max batted first and put 3/169 on the board from 20 overs. Lucinda Bourke made a fine 89 not out for the visitors, a well-deserved half-century. There were 32 from Sasha Moloney for our opponents.
Chasing 170, we reached 7/144 from 20 overs. Elyse Villani led the way with 45 off 35 balls with seven fours. Laura Harris provided good support with 43. The visitors' best with the ball was Grace Abdy (three for 23).
Credit to our opponents, who played well. We will be looking to get back in the winning column soon. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
