It wasn't to be for our Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max, who lost to Redlands KFC T20 Max on a tough day.
We batted first and put 149 on the board from 19.4 overs. Fifty for Luke Georgeson, who finished with 59 off 42 balls. Jed Wilson weighed in with 28 off 24 balls. James Bazley was the main threat for Redlands KFC T20 Max, taking four for 15. James Pullar chipped in with three for 23 for the visitors.
Our opponents reached the target at 2/150 in 17.2 overs. Credit to Sam Heazlett, who made a half-century (75) for the visitors. Liam Smith passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 51.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with. Well played to the visitors.
