On the road, our Wynnum-Manly KFC T20 Max were held off by Ipswich KFC T20 Max on a frustrating day.
Ipswich KFC T20 Max batted first and reached 4/180 from 20 overs. Harry Sheppard passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 83 not out. Mikey McNamara posted 68 for the hosts, a classy fifty. Harmon Sandhu bowled beautifully to finish with two for 28.
In reply, we finished on 8/150 from 20 overs. Jed Wilson made a brilliant 57 off 48 balls, a well-made fifty. Ali Nasar Zaidi provided good support with 23. Sean Lutter claimed four for 23 for our opponents.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
We'll go again.
