It was a satisfying day for our Wynnum Manly District Open Women, who emerged victorious against Valley District Open Women in Brisbane Women's Competition action.
Valley District Open Women batted first and put 73 on the board from 25.5 overs. Rachel Toovey was the pick of our bowlers with two for 2. Stephanie Antees bowled beautifully for two for 8.
In reply, the girls reached the target at 3/77 in 14.1 overs. Antees's 31 off 41 balls was the highlight with the bat. Peyton Powell added a useful 20 off 24 balls.
Well done, team.
