The Wynnum-Manly (1) Mens 6th Grade were unable to stop Valley Mens 6th Grade on a tough day.
We posted 6/107, and Valley Mens 6th Grade 7/149. Fifty for Mitchell Vincett, who made 50 for the hosts. Thomas Small made a useful 34 for our opponents. Roy Heath returned figures of four for 19 off eight overs.
Nulan Senevirathne top-scored with 23 off 45 balls. Lachlan Andersen was the main threat for the hosts, taking four for 21.
There were some polished individual efforts to build on. The side will be keen to turn things around after two straight losses. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
